Terms & Conditions

The following additional terms and conditions apply to the Through the Lens: Jazz Fest & Street Photography Tour.

Registration and Payments

  • To secure your spot on the tour, a $1000 deposit is required at the time of registration, via credit card, bank transfer, or US check.

  • The final payment must be completed by midnight, November 24, 2025. You can pay online by credit card,  bank transfer or US check. Our bank transfer information is as follows.

  • If the balance is not paid when due, Language Adventure Pros LLC reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.


Payment of your deposit indicates that you accept the following Terms and Conditions, as well as all general information listed in the tour description.

Language Adventure Pros LLC, (LAP) its members, employees, and agents give notice that all services and arrangements related to this program have been made by LAP only as agents upon the express condition that LAP shall not be liable and does not assume responsibility for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss whether to person or property arising out of any injury, accident, death, cancellation, delay, alteration, or inconvenience resulting from any act of omission, commission or inadvertence of any accommodation, carrier, restaurant or other company or person rendering any of the services included in the program or caused by weather, sickness, strikes, quarantines or the willful or negligent acts of any other tour members or any cause whatsoever beyond the control of LAP. Some activities are operated by local tour operators contracted with by LAP. 


Your Responsibilities

As a Through the Lens: Jazz Fest & Street Photography Tour participant you agree to the following:

  • I will follow the safety policies and procedures of LAP and the tour directors' & guide’s instructions during activities.

  • I will sign a Participant Waiver of Liability before participating in this tour (included below).

  • I accept that I have significant responsibility for my own safety and agree that I am ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE for my own safety during participation in any LAP program.

  • I agree to follow local customs and laws.

  • I will obtain travel health insurance to cover Cuba and any injury I may suffer or damage I may cause during the course of the tour. I further certify that I am willing to assume the risk of any medical or physical condition I may have. 

  • I acknowledge that program photographs and images which include me can be published by LAP without compensation to me, for the company’s marketing purposes only.

  • I will be responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents including a valid passport and any required visas.

Cancellations and Refunds

Exceptions to these policies cannot be made for any reason. 

  • This tour is limited in space and requires careful planning. If you need to cancel, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible.

  • Tours need a minimum number of travelers. If this number isn’t met, LAP may cancel. If LAP cancels a tour, all fees and deposits will be refunded in full.

  • LAP reserves the right to cancel all or a portion of a tour for force majeure or any other circumstances beyond its control and, in the event of such cancellation, full or partial refunds, if any, will be at LAP's sole discretion and will constitute full settlement. 

  • LAP is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets or additional expenses incurred in preparing for the trip such as visa fees or medical expenses. LAP strongly recommends that you purchase trip cancellation/travel insurance in the event of a trip cancellation.

 Emergency Cancellations

  • LAP is not liable for cancellations due to illness or emergencies. Trip cancellation/travel insurance is recommended to cover these situations.

 48-Hour Grace Period

  • After registering, you have 48 hours to change your mind. Cancel within this time, and LAP will refund your payment minus a $75 processing fee.

 Refunds and Withdrawals

Cancel more than 60 days before your trip, and LAP will refund your payments minus a fee equal to 50% of your deposit.

  • Cancel less than or at 60 days before the trip, and there will be no refunds.

Trip Cancellation/Travel Insurance

  • LAP requires that each tour participant purchase short term health insurance that covers Cuba. Although participants are required to carry travel medical insurance, LAP in no way endorses a particular company or takes responsibility for coverage or insurance payouts or lack thereof.  Participants agree to take full responsibility for disputing and/or litigating any decisions or claims with any chosen insurance carrier.  LAP requires proof of insurance coverage 60 days prior to the program start date - on or before November 25, 2025.

  • LAP highly recommends that you obtain trip cancellation/travel insurance. If you don’t have it, you will be responsible for any costs if you cancel your trip. 

Right to Remove Participants

  • LAP may remove or decline participants at any time. A refund for unused services, minus non-refundable fees such as hotel reservations, will be provided, but that is the full extent of LAPs responsibility.
